Location:

• The Phoenix Canariensis thrives best in a sunny spot, both indoors and outdoors.
• This palm can tolerate direct sunlight, but will also thrive in partial shade.

Water requirement:

• The Canary Island date palm has a moderate water requirement. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings.
• In summer the plant may need watering more often, while in winter less frequent watering is sufficient.
